A body lay on the sofa looking almost to large for it. The features of his face looked almost calm and peaceful, but it was far different from that. His dark brown eyes were closed deep in thought. Some might've confused it as sleeping, but others knew better. This was no one other than Jacob Black.
Jacob had just gotten back from wherever he'd ran off to. He knew he'd have to face the pack, Bella and her leeches sometime or another. He figured that now was better than never especially since she had a several more weeks before the wedding.

Bella constantly kept coming back to la Push, though she knew Jacob wasn't there. Charlie was out fishing with Billy. Edward, Alice and everyone were out hunting, and so she had nothing to do. Then she saw a light on at the Black's house. What? But, no ones there! Billy's fishing with Charlie and Jacobs... Bella began to think. Her eyes widened with the thought. "Jake!" She said to herself. She ran as fast as she could to the front of the house and knocked on the door. "Jake, is that you!?" She called though the closed door.

Jacob had already heard Bella when she whispered to herself, so he went to peer out the window. He didn't hear the familiar roar of her old Ford's engine, so when he saw the Mercedes his jaw dropped slightly. A light smile came to his face as she came towards the house.
"Come on in, the doors open," his deep husky voice said.

Bella waited patiently at the door. When she heard his voice, she was so happy. So opened the door slightly and peeked in, to make sure it was Jake. When she saw him, her smile widened and she bolted in to the house. "Jake!" She said happily when she saw him at the window. Then she went and hugged him, though with him being more then 6 feet, her head basically went up a little below his neck. "I'm so glad your back!"

Jacob was glad to hear Bella's voice again. It was the one thing he missed while he was gone. He picked Bella up and gave her a bear hug, but quickly put her back down. Sitting down on the couch he patted the seat next to him for Bella to sit down. "I'm glad to be back," he spoke as he gave a wolfy grin.
There was a silence for a little bit, so Jake took it upon himself to find out what happened in her life while he was gone. "So are ya' still marrying Edward," Jake asked using the bloodsuckers first name, knowing it would make Bella happy, though he was resisting the urge to say an offensive term. He didn't want their relationship to be even worse than it was.
"Thanks." She said, glad that she wasn't getting squished. Bella smiled. She was really happy that Jake was back, but she wasn't sure how Edward and all of them would take it. She sighed. "Yes Jacob, I'm still marrying Edward. And I'm surprised that you actually used his name. "Its still not for a little while though." She didn't think this was the best idea to talk about at the moment, so she switched it. "So what were you doing up in Canada?" Bella asked him.
"The weddings not for a little while eh? Then I still have a chance," Jacob spoke whispering the last part. This would give him more time to plan to stop this. He loved Bella and there's no way he was giving up now that he knew this information.
"Oh Canada, I was...thinking," he said being a bit hesitant, Jake was actually crying over his loss most of the time there. Jacob wondered how Bella found out about him being there, she wasn't supposed to know. He'd have to find out which one of those traitors did this soon.
"Yeah, not for awhile." She repeated. "And Alice is getting all crazy with setting it up..." She trailed off, forgetting what she had said to herself. Bella sighed and stretched her arms. "I haven't really been up to much, just enduring Alice and the wedding plans, wondering where you've been..." She said and smiled slightly pushed his arm, knowing it would do more impact to herself then it would him. "And what did you do while you were in Canada?" She asked him back.
