Swings (open) « Thread Started on Aug 12, 2008, 2:14pm »
Storm slowly pushed herself back and forth on the classic wooden frame of the swings. The night was very quiet and she hadn't seen anyone for quite some time. It was just that lonley sort of night. Just her and the stars. Very slowly her memory drifted back to her childhood. she had had one of these swings in her backyard, in India. She thought of how the motion of being flung so far forward and so high up made the chains snap her back. She thought of the momentary fear that one day she would fall off...
She couldn't ever get the same fear again. In her current state she was all but invincible. Nothing could kill her save complete dismemberment and burning. She laughed out loud at the foolish mistakes humans had made along the way about vampires. The sun, the coffins, the stakes. Stakes were her favorite and every now and again she liked to keep that one alive. It was always funny when some human either got delusional or found out the truth. Before th Volturi showed up, one vampire could give the human a nasty shock by simply pulling the stake out and...returning the favor.
